A new DXpedition is under way. S9R is active from São Tomé Island in São Tomé and Príncipe from October 17 through October 31, 2026, organized by the Intercontinental DX Group. The plan covers CW, SSB, RTTY, FT8 and other digital modes on 160, 80, 60, 40, 30, 20, 15, 10 and 6 meters.
With two full weeks on the air and that many bands, this is a good shot at putting S9 in your log, or picking up a new band or mode for it. QSL details have not been announced yet, so check the team’s website before you send a card.
