Parks on the Air Along the Potomac, June 2023

On June 3, 2023, Mount Vernon Amateur Radio Club members headed out to the park along the Potomac River for a Parks on the Air (POTA) outing.

We set up portable stations on the picnic tables under the trees, put up a magnetic loop antenna right by the water, and took turns making contacts. Beautiful day, good company, and a great view of the river.

Location: Belle Haven Park, Alexandria, Virginia, on the Potomac River
