If you’ve ever looked at a weekly propagation forecast and wondered what the numbers mean, this one’s for you. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Ed, N2EC presents a talk of about 45 minutes for the Mount Vernon Amateur Radio Club. He’ll cover how the sun interacts with our ionosphere, how that lets signals travel around the world, and how to pick the bands that will work best.
Start the morning with us at the club’s monthly breakfast at IHOP on Richmond Highway, just down the road. Then head to Room 219 at the FFX County South Building, 8350 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22309, for the program from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. You can also join online through Google Meet at meet.google.com/zov-intm-iny.
Ed is opening this talk to the whole ham community, so bring a friend.
73,
Corey, KN4YZY, MVARC President
