Halloween is bringing out some spooky special event stations, and several are on the air right now. The Triple A Amateur Radio Association in Pennsylvania is running K2V from the Evans City Cemetery, made famous by Night of the Living Dead, through Halloween, with K2Q joining on October 30 and 31 near a bridge seen in the film. The Mid-Missouri Amateur Radio Club is signing WØO from Frankenstein, Missouri, until November 1.
Then Wyoming Ghost Towns on the Air runs October 31 to November 10, using calls W7A through W7W. Spin the dial and see how many spooky calls you can put in the log.
