If you enjoy reading about ham radio as much as operating, I think you will like The KA3DRR Experience. Scot, KA3DRR, started this Substack about a year ago, and it has quickly grown into a steady stream of stories about radiosport, Parks on the Air, DXing and the people who make our hobby fun.
What I like most is that Scot writes from the operating chair. One recent piece looks at what chasing an award really teaches you, and another reflects on staying on one band a little too long during a contest. His newest post floats an idea he calls Parks-to-Radiosport: a recognition-only pilot for 2027 that would give a nod to contest entries made from public land, in the hope of nudging more POTA activators to send in their first contest log.
With ARRL Sweepstakes coming up, it is a perfect time to give it a read.
